“I’m continually inspired by the way thoughtful design can shape everyday experiences. Architecture has the power to elevate the ordinary, foster connection, and create spaces that genuinely improve people’s lives. This positive impact is what I strive for through my work.”

Emma joined Arkhefield through the firm’s Internship Program after completing her Master of Architecture at The University of Queensland. Her enthusiasm for growth and learning drives a thoughtful, people-first approach to design, underpinned by a strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and social equity.

Since joining the practice, Emma has contributed to a range of projects including Parkside – Yeronga, Waterfront Brisbane, Beenleigh Ambulance Station, and Keppel Bay Sailing Club. Her experience spans social housing, residential, commercial, retail, and interior design, and she continues to build her technical and design capabilities with the goal of becoming a registered architect.

Emma is also an active member of Arkhefield’s internal team responsible for developing our Reconciliation Action Plan, reflecting her dedication to meaningful engagement and positive change within the built environment and broader community.
