“I value every opportunity to honour a client’s brief, troubleshoot problem areas and develop solutions.”
James Stephenson’s ability to shift from big concept ideas to the detail of larger projects comes from his considerable experience as an architect.
James has had significant involvement with health and aged care projects throughout his career, which began in the early 80s. He was the project architect on the construction phase of Nambour General Hospital from 2009 to 2012 and has contributed to numerous health projects in urban and regional centres throughout Queensland, including Hervey Bay, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Thursday Island and Blackall.
James has more than 25 years experience running his own architecture practice. His portfolio of work is a combination of residential, commercial and health-related projects, including office and retail fit-outs and the design of pharmacies and GP practices.
James values every opportunity to honour a client’s brief, troubleshoot problem areas and develop solutions. His ability to produce sketch modelling for design concepts combined with his understanding of the detail required for large-scale projects is a valuable asset to our current mixed-use and community developments.
